Cultural and Social Events

Throughout the year, FCC Maryland sponsors cultural events to help our children better understand their native culture and to give them opportunities to associate with other adoptive families. Parents also have the opportunity to socialize and compare notes on parenting and adoption issues. Please see our events page for details.

Play Groups

Newsletter

The FCC Maryland Chapter publishes a free quarterly newsletter regarding adoption issues, Chinese culture and current information about our organization. Check out the documents section to read the latest newsletter.

Waiting Parents Events

The Waiting Parents' group meets regularly to provide support and information to waiting families or those considering China adoption. Sessions include information regarding travel, how to create a lifebook, how to parent an adoptive child as well as being able to share their feelings and frustrations about the adoption process. FCC Maryland is always looking for families who would like to take an active role in helping to guide the direction of our organization. We encourage everyone to visit the page for volunteer possibilities.
